Shanghai American School's 4th Grade's Goal:

4th grade will collaboratively align our curriculum to provide all students a guaranteed and viable academic experience. Teachers will communicate cross river at regular intervals about pacing and the attainment of our goal in each content area. 4th grade students will have a more equitable curricular experience and this will inspire their passion for lifelong learning. 4th grade will work together to build a cross campus SAS community by having "buddy classes." These classes will utilize technological resources on both campuses to build relationships and create a common community. This work will include a joint field trip to the Shanghai Museum, emphasizing our revised Social Studies curriculum. This experience will promote students' commitment to integrity and passion by building real human connections with their peers. 4th grade's commitment to building a positive cross campus community will model for students the courage to follow their own dreams.
